This session discusses how the various virtualization capabilities of the Power Systems hardware and AIX operating system can be utilized to complement high availability and disaster recovery architectures to provide an enhanced level of business continuity.
By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
Understand a select set of the virtualization capabilities of the Power systems hardware and the AIX operating system
Identify how those virtualization capabilities can complement traditional high availability and disaster recovery architectures
IT managers, system administrators, database administrators, solution architects who wish to gain or improve their understanding of the virtualization capabilities of the AIX operating system and of the Power Systems hardware.
