Session Abstract:
Learn a wealth of information about IBM i Integrated File System (IFS) security. This session covers both fundamental and advanced security topics designed to help you manage and improve the security of your IFS. Topics include: blending UNIX, PC, and IBM i authorities; using security commands, APIs, GUIs and tools; security for created objects; auditing;virus scanning; controlling remote access; updates for IBM i 6.1 and 7.1; and more.

1. Learn and understand the semantics of integrated file system security, including authorities, virus scanning, and more.
